We are excited to be introducing Music Therapy with Douglas Aguiar.
This quick video will illustrate and explain in images the benefits of music therapy and how it can relief pain and disorders, among others.
Born in Brazil and became a Spanish citizen after living and getting involved with Madrid’s music scene Douglas studied at Villa Lobos Music Conservatory in São Paulo. In 2000 developed his technic and musicality practicing Flamenco guitar in Spain.
2004 saw the launch of his first album “Outras Bossas”. The second album was released in 2008 “Boca a Boca”. From 2009 to 2011 he recorded a series of live video performances which showcased new songs.
In 2013 he moved to Sydney, and has since been promoting music and culture around Australia With Latin influences and traveling freely among different Brazilian styles, Douglas offers a wide musical set adding Australian memories from his teenager surf life.
Being a music therapist has given Douglas the opportunity to help people from all of ages such as: to develop children education and/or assist elderly lives.
Music is able to support many disturbances as well as it also can open new ways to live, besides to give a different perspective to improve wellness.
