Electroencephalogram (EEG)

The EEG is a procedure that records brain electrical rhythms (“brain waves”) via sensor electrodes applied to the scalp. The test is often requested by doctors as part of an evaluation of suspected seizure activity. The findings may assist with your diagnosis, or be used to monitor the progress of treatment.  

EEG's are performed by our laboratory staff on Thursdays.
